If you have the good fortune of being in Seattle, then you must jump on your broom and fly to Mortlake & Company tonight for the opening of Witch-Ikon, a month-long exhibition of witchcraft imagery that includes some of my very favorite artists. Oh how I witch I could be there!

Witch-Ikon: An Exhibition of Contemporary Witchcraft Imagery, a special exhibition at Mortlake & Company Gallery, Seattle, throughout the month of October. Exhibited artists will include Benjamin Vierling, K. Lenore Siner, David HerrerĂas, Dolorosa de la Cruz, Rory MacLean, Santiago Caruso, Marzena Ablewska-Lech and Timo Ketola, among others. Throughout the month of the exhibition, various guest lectures will be presented on aspects of the witch in art. Additional exhibition-only publications will be available for purchase at the gallery, as will prints from Three Hands Press.
There is also the Witch-Ikon book coming from Three Hands Press, which is 288 pages of artwork and essays that explore the image of the witch through the ages. Looks tremendous.
