I've got some exciting events coming up next month, and I'd love to see you at either or both.
First, I'm very honored to announce that I'll be speaking at the Seligmann Center in Sugar Loaf, NY on Saturday, March 5th at 6pm. This is where Kurt Seligmann and his wife, Arlette, lived, worked, and were subsequently buried, and the property is a beautiful sanctuary about 90 minutes outside of NYC. I'll be giving my "Witch Pictures: Female Magic and Transgression in Western Art" presentation, and I'm already discovering many new witch images by Seligmann himself to add to my visuals. Admission is free, but if you wish, you can let us know if you're planning on attending. The surrounding town is charming as well, so make a day trip out of it.
Secondly, I'll be giving a 20 minute presentation as part of Morbid Anatomy Museum's marathon Festival of Arcane Knowledge. Topic is TBD though will have an occultic bent no doubt, and I believe I'll be going on near the start of the day. It's a tremendous sounding event indeed, and I'm excited to be part of this excellent lineup:
Date: Sunday, March 13th
Time: 10.30 am – 8pm
Admission: $25 – $20 for Morbid Anatomy Members
Location: Morbid Anatomy Museum, 424 Third Avenue, 11215 Brooklyn NY

Please join the Morbid Anatomy Museum for the second iteration of our “Festival of Arcane Knowledge.” The day will feature MC Evan Michelson of TV’s Oddities introducing a full day of short talks, offbeat tours, demonstrations, screenings and projections by our unique community of makers, teachers, collectors and rogue scholars. Following the day’s activities we’ll host a private after party at Halyards, our favorite local bar. Hope you can make it!
