Apologies for the radio silence, all. We were in Minnesota last week visiting family, and supporting the Fringe production of our dear friend Matthew Trumbull's exceptional one-man show, "The Zebra Shirt of Lonely Children," which was directed by my husband, Matthew Freeman. In happy news, the show is a total smash out there, with sold-out houses, standing ovations, and rave reviews. Minnesotan readers, go see it! I've also been very busy on various other exciting projects, some of which I'll be announcing here soon. It's been a thrilling summer indeed so far. Watch this space! Magick is afoot!
In the meantime, I've been trying to stay centered within the energetic swirl. These avian paintings by Amy Judd are certainly helping. She uses wings as armor, feathers as cocoons. I can almost feel them wrapping around me, reminding me that the flip side of flight is a soft landing.
(And thank you to Clint Marsh of Wonderella for introducing her work to me!)
