A bit late to the party on this one, as his show, "Sigils" at Beacon's Short Walls Gallery closes today. But Randy Aragon's new work is bright and enchanting, playing with sacred geometry and classical mask tropes. Here's hoping he'll update his site with some of these pieces soon.
I read about the show in the always tasty Chronogram this weekend. It's a local magazine I can't wait to get my hands on whenever we're upstate. I love it because it covers culture, nature, and spirituality in equal measure, and never fails to turn me onto to some neat event or artist in the area.
