Bonnie Marie Smith's work has a rough tenderness to it which hits me in the heart just so.  Her ceramic sculptures of dream creatures are fanciful for sure, yet the clay and handmade feel give the work a grounded quality, striking the perfect balance between the airy and the earthy.  Love.
