Marilyn Holsing  "Young Marie as Fire Eater" 

I love Marilyn Holsing's Marie Antoinette series.  Her delicate paintings depict "Young Marie" in various fictitious poses, which have the effect of being both canonizing and humanizing at once, if that's even possible.
