Michael Page  "Winter Heat"  2012

I confess I sometimes use Phantasmaphile as art therapy.  A chilly, dreary day like today comes along, and I have no choice but to post an image like Michael Page's aptly named "Winter Heat," and give myself a shot in the arm.  I may not be able to cloak myself in petalled veils of warmth right now, or walk on a carpet of vermillion flowers.  But at least I can gaze upon this peculiar, exquisite painting and raise my inner temperature a degree or two.  Bonus points for the stag cameo.
