Emma Bennett paints in the style of the Old Masters, but with a decidely gothique twist.  Her beautiful still life clusters of petals, fruit, and game glow like jewels against their black backgrounds, and look nearly photographic.  (Brigid is still on my mind, post-Imbolc, so I thought these flaming flowers were an appropriate acknowledgement.)
