Hello, Phantasmaphiles.  As some of you know, I've been maintaining this blog since October of 2005.  In these 7+ years, despite being approached numerous times, I've resisted embedding any sort of advertising on the site or in the RSS feed, and I'd love to keep on keeping on.  Though the opportunities and experiences Phantasmaphile has brought me thus far have been priceless, I do lose money every month paying for site upkeep, between Typepad & Dreamhost fees, which together total $346.80 per year. This blog has been an absolute labor of love, and I plan on continuing it for as long as possible.  My hope isn't even to make a profit, merely to break even.  Rather than starting to have ads here to offset my costs, I thought I'd first ask you Phantasmaphilic readers if you'd consider donating to the site.  Any amount would be a great help, though just for some perspective, $28.90 would help me pay for one month of hosting fees.  You can donate by clicking the friendly yellow button below, or on the upper right corner of the site, or by clicking here:
