I stumbled across Alejandro Rivera's work while walking down West Broadway earlier this week. Campton Gallery is currently exhibiting his show, "Flora Awaken," and I couldn't resist the pull of his rainbow-striped, science meets mythos vignettes. You, too, can view his molecular maidens, floral horses, and Mexican cloud gardens in person through September 30th.
It's a wonderful juxtaposition, isn't it? The stripes and maiden are so strange and fun to gaze upon.
