Dr. Dee Opera album

I've been seething with Anglo-envy ever since I heard that Damon Albarn and Alan Moore were working on an opera about alchemist extraordinaire, Dr. Dee.  Though Moore dropped out of the project, the opera went up last summer at the Manchester international festival, to much acclaim.  Happily, it will be released in album form on May 8th, and can pre-ordered now.  It's also streaming on the Guardian blog, for your aural, "strange pastoral folk" pleasure.
