Laurie Lipton "The Winged Hermaphrodite"
Do you want to hear something face-meltingly cool? OK, I'll tell you. Many moons ago, pencil prodigy Laurie Lipton was commissioned by Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica to do a series of drawings based on legendary alchemical works, such as "Splendor Solis" and "Atalanta Fugiens." And you can view them all online under the "commissions" section of her awesome site. Glorious.
you can see the entire book on my Facebook Fan Page. Just go to the SPLENDOR SOLIS album:

wow....this is a total surprise!
And so Wonderful!
Thank you Pam. Everything you follow is such a treat.
It's such a task to keep up with all that's so interesting with esotericism and contemporary art movement.
At some point I really need to add my hand into the global (traditional) alchemical mix....
