I am pining away for flowers, and it's not even winter yet. Luckily Four Yip's nature lovin' work has given me a nice fix to get me through the day. Beauteous.

If the postings on Flickr are chronological, then Four Yips seems to have gone through a real burst of ability in terms of both composition and rendering of surface sometime around September. I can't tell the medium, most look like acrylic but some early ones look like computer? There was an exhibition in Second Life or something it said. Curious. I predict exhibitions in First Life soon. Didn't the Aphex Twin have a track called 73 Yips? I wonder what happened to the other 69 Yips.

HA! Four Yip has obviously touched a happy nerve with you. So glad. It's great, isn't it?

I like them. She's getting the salon-art-thru-Picasso style of eyelids thing down. Compare Four Yip's eyelids to Les Mademoiselles d'Avignon. There's kind of a trick to getting that line.
I thought it was Four Yips. But it is Four Yip. That makes more sense, of course.
???
Maybe it's an obscure reference. Remember the aliens on Sesame Street?
Yip yip yip yip.
