Mat Brown "Fall Preparation" 2007
The weather is getting cooler, the days are getting shorter. What better way to usher in the autumn season than with Mat Brown's piece, "Fall Preparation," and a mug of warm cider? Much of Brown's work is filled with grotesque details and unsavory goings-on, but it's all rendered with a pastel color palette and expert hand that add an inarguable prettiness to each scene.
This is creepily powerful. Wow.
