Tony Fitzpatrick  "Chicago Harlequin"  2006

I've been a fan of Tony Fitzpatrick's for a while now, but I finally had the great pleasure of seeing his work face to face this weekend at his PS1 show.  It's far more textured than it appears on screen, with painstakingly gathered and cut ephemera being incorporated throughout.  This piece in particular made me catch my breath.  I love the line:  "She is a peddler of nocturnes and riddles."  Don't you?
