Thomas Woodruff's paintings are ocular extravaganzas. These pieces are studies in excess, teeming with color and an almost furious ornamentation. Buried within the beauty are threads of emotion and secret stories from the artist's life. I'm not sure what it all means, but I am in awe nonetheless.
