Susan Jamison "Trust in Me" 2007
The marvelous Susan Jamison has a new show at Irvine Contemporary in DC, up through October 20th. This new work delves further into the secret space where feminism, flora, and fauna are woven together in an interdependent tapestry. Her painted embroidery patterns adorn her subjects like some sort of sacred make-up, mapping nature over the natural. I hope these find their way to the NYC area soon!
