The above is but one of the hundreds of vintage magic items being auctioned off at Swann Auction Galleries tomorrow at 1:30pm. The Christian Fechner Collection of American & European Magic contains old posters, magic tricks, and other delights from the 19th and early 20th centuries. I'm going try and take a peek at the exhibition today, and perhaps procure a catalog. Wish I could afford to bid on an item, but ah, such is life.
