Cooper Edens from "Caretakers of Wonder"
Cooper Edens is a treasure. His books If You're Afraid of the Dark, Remember the Night Rainbow and Caretakers of Wonder
were two of my absolute favorites when I was little. He also is a vintage illustration aficionado, and creates collages and small tomes using his vast collection of cuttings.

What a flashback! I didn't remember the artist's name, and I haven't seen his work in fifteen years, but the minute I saw the image I thought of "Remember the Night Rainbow." My mom had that book and we read it over and over. . .

I recently rediscovered it as I was packing up my parents' house, and it made me so happy! So glad you loved it, too...

I found my copy of "If you're afraid of the dark, remember the night rainbow", today while going through some drawers, looking for something else. I sat down and re-read it immediately. At once I was back twenty three years ago, reading it to my daughter. It is one of very few books that I saved from her childhood, and it is my favorite. It is so imaginative and very comforting, even at my age! Thank you to Cooper Edens for years of joy from this little book.
