I really like Bryan Voell's approach to collage. He leaves the edges of his clippings looking torn and frayed, which infuse his pieces with a sort of haunting, punk rock aesthetic.

Bryan Voell is one of those rare art personalities that will impact art/writing movements in such iconic ways for generations...I show my 8th grade photo students his work
