Sandra Scolnik "Bird Watching" 2004
There is something about Sandra Scolnik's work that, while reminiscent of the old masters, feels uniquely futuristic. Perhaps it's the clone-like repetition of the same androgynous characters, the sanitized white sheets, or the carefully measured dimensions of space and scale. Whatever it is, I just adore it.
