Will Cotton paints pictures of nude or semi-nude women splayed out in luscious candy fantasias. I'm sure his work is rife with implications about consumption and indulgence and sexuality and exploitation, but what I really care about is how friggin gorgeous it is.

Come hear Will Cotton speak at Christie's. The American Federation of Arts (AFA) is pleased to announce that Cotton is the first featured speaker in the 2010/11 ArtTalks series, to be held at Christie’s on Tuesday, September 21, at 6:30 p.m.

I love his hidden meanings, such as the broken and tainted candy cane as well as the darkenss shown behind the 'candy forest'. He is a pleasure to analyse.
